This document is an evolving documentations of the prerelease versions of kimba pascal compiler.
It's wiritten using TiddlyWiki with the CoreTweaks plugin to allow fast edition and easy browsing.
At the current state a long discusssion about compatibiity makes no sense. Just a few notes:
Global ''goto'' is not allowed, and most likely it will never be.
TurboPascal
Kimba generates c++ code from the pascal source and them compiles and links the c++ code by invoking g++. The units used are handled by reading the implementation from the pascal source, during pascal compiling and from the c++ source during c++ compiling with #include and conditional compiling.
The c++ code generated use several headers and a library included in kimba, thus g++ must be able to find them. To achieve this you can use the kimba directory to compile your programs and units or use the kimba options -cxxopts and –ldopts to pass options to g++, like this:

This tiddler contains some quick tweaks and modifications to TW core functions to provide minor changes in standard features or behavior.
